The methods you have to learn a skill are the next ones:

🔹 Reading a book:

1️⃣ Buy in a store the book related to the skill you want to learn.
2️⃣ Go to your inventory and read the book.

🔹 At the university:

1️⃣ Go to a University.
2️⃣ Select View Courses.
3️⃣ If the skill you want to learn is there, select it. ¹
4️⃣ Select Attend Classes as your career focus.
5️⃣ Stay at the university until you learn the skill.

¹ If you are VIP you can go to the Help Page and, in the Tools section, you will find the University Finder for all the skills.

🔹 As an apprentice to someone.

1️⃣ Find someone who wants to teach you the skill you want to learn.¹
2️⃣ When your friendship is at least 10% use the Seek apprenticeship interaction.
3️⃣ Wait until that person accepts you as a apprentice. ²
4️⃣ Change your career focus to Learn from Master/Mistress. The other person have to change their career focus to Teach a skill.
5️⃣ Wait until you learn the skill. You have to be in the same place as the other person for the updates to work.

¹ If the skill you want to learn has prerequisites make sure you have them all. Also the other person needs the Basic Teaching skill and the skill you want to learn highly improved both.
² In their character page go to the section Career & Activity and select Apprenticeships to accept any persons seeking apprenticeship.

🔸 Purchasing a memory implant at the Black Market. (TGH only)

1️⃣ Go to the Black Market in any city.
2️⃣ Select the Memory Implants option.
3️⃣ Select the skill you want to learn. ¹

¹ Use this only when you have 100 marbles to learn the skill and improve it instantly to 5 stars. Also some of those skills has prerequisites.
